Welcome to the current issue of EquiNews!
With the holiday season coming, thoughts of good food and sweets come to mind. At least they do to mine!
For me it’s the chocolate! Liqueur filled chocolate, chocolate with nuts, round chocolates, square chocolates – you name it, I like it! But my horses don’t – which is just fine with me!
The feature article in this issue of EquiNews talks about sweets and your horse’s teeth.
In keeping with a Christmas kind of theme there is a “spicy” tip for you in the TIP section that isn’t exactly about horse teeth, but an interesting old time remedy nonetheless.
There’s also:
Ø an answer to the question about “brushing horse’s teeth”.
Ø and a word definition: “mastication”
Some of you have been ordering copies of the horse dentistry handbook as gifts for horse friends and family. I appreciate the business and I am sure they will get a lot of use out of the handbook – good idea.
I hope this issue of EquiNews is helpful and interesting for you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you have. It’s always great to hear from you!
Enjoy the Christmas season and the coming year.
Don’t forget to slip your horse an extra scoop of oats some time over the holidays!
